Materials Sport weight yarn 3.5 mm and 3 mm crochet hooks (or size needed to obtain gauge and one size smaller hook) 1 stitch marker Pair of scissors Yarn needle Gauge 18 sc by 22 rows = 4” by 4” Abbreviations US terminology ch = chain sc-blo = single crochet in back loop only sc = single crochet sl st = slip stitch inc = increase Notes: Ch 1 does not count as a stitch When working in rounds, do NOT join after rounds, continue working in spirals.
