Materials Worsted weight cotton yarn 5 mm crochet hook  Pair of scissors Yarn needle Abbreviations US terminology ch = chain dc = double crochet sl st = slip stitch sc-blo = single crochet in back loop only Special Stitches: Puff Stitch: Pull the sl st loop up to the height of dc, *yarn over, insert hook in indicated stitch, pull up a loop**, repeat from * 2 more times (7 loops on the hook), yo, pull through all the 7 loops, ch 1 to secure the puff.
