Quick waistcoat stitch beanie ALL sizes

I love the look of knitted garments, very clean, no holes. But I cannot knit. So I crocheted this beanie which looks knitted. This stitch is perfect to include  fair isle  design too. Waistcoat stitch is perfect to make your crochet work look like knitting. It is just single crochet, but instead of inserting the hook below 2 top loops of the stitch, it is inserted in between the post of the stitch ( you can see the little Vs). Decrease is also similar to regular sc, just insert your hook in Vs. This beanie works up really quickly, because the large hook is used. Make sure you keep your tension little loose and use a pointier hook. I would also recommend a yarn which is slightly thinner than regular worsted weight yarn. But always make sure you have checked your gauge and it matches with the gauge mentioned in the pattern. This is very important for perfect fitting beanie.
